TableSet · Beta
Terms of Service
Last updated October 8, 2026
These are the terms for the TableSet beta. In short: the beta is free, it is still being built, your lists and your inventory stay yours, and you can take them with you whenever you like.
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and Nicolas Cooper, of Texas, United States, who runs TableSet (“we”). You agree to them by ticking the box when you create a beta account or join the beta, or by using TableSet. We keep a record of which version you accepted and when. If you use TableSet for a business, you agree on its behalf and confirm you may do so.
2. The beta
- The beta is by invitation. A beta code is for the person it was given to and may be used once.
- The beta is free. If TableSet ever charges, we will tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged without your agreement to new terms.
- TableSet is still being built. Features may change, move or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times, including without notice.
- We make no promise of uptime during the beta. Keep a backup of anything you cannot afford to lose; TableSet has a button for it.
3. Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you add to your organization.
Everyone in an organization sees its lists and its inventory. Owners and editors can change and delete them; counters can record counts. Add only people you trust with that.
4. Your content
- It is yours. Your lists, your inventory records, your logos and everything else you put into TableSet belong to you or your organization.
- Our permission is narrow. You let us store, copy, display and process your content only to run TableSet for you, to keep it secure and to fix problems you ask us to look at.
- You can take it out. You can download all of it, at any time, as one file.
- What your list says is up to you. You are responsible for your list’s content, including prices, vintages, availability, allergen statements and following the alcohol laws that apply to you. TableSet does not check any of it.
- Only what you have the right to use. Only upload logos, signatures and text you have the right to use.
5. Fair use
Please do not:
- try to reach another organization’s data;
- probe, scan or test the service’s security without our written permission;
- overload the service or use automated tools against it;
- use it for anything unlawful;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the service.
If you find a security problem, please tell us at [email protected]; see the security page.
6. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve TableSet without owing you anything for them.
7. Our side
TableSet, its design, its software and its wine library belong to us. Using TableSet does not give you any rights to them beyond using the service under these terms.
8. Ending the beta
- You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your account.
- We can end the beta, or your part in it, at any time. Unless you have broken these terms, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email so you can download your data.
- After your account ends, we delete your content within 30 days, as the Privacy Policy describes.
9. No warranty
The beta is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
10. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or any indirect or consequential damages arising from TableSet. Our total liability for any claim about the beta is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts in El Paso County, Texas.
12. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using TableSet after that, the new terms apply. We may also ask you to accept them again in the app.
